BINZ maintains two locations, one in Lorch where it once was founded and the newcomer in Ilmenau in Thuringia. Lorch holds work for 200 employees and 100 work in Ilmenau.

BINZ exists since 1936. In »Tradition and Progress« the company history has been dealt with at length.

In Lorch production is concentrated on Limousines, rescue vehicles, military vehicles, stretcher supports and extras for ambulances. Ilmenau’s main emphasis are ambulances, vehicles for fire brigades and disaster control, monitoring of environmental protection and mobile medical containers. Research and development is mainly done in Lorch.
