An ambulance dated 1961 built on the basis of a V8 BMW 2,6 l. »The enormous experience BINZ accumulated by remodeling Mercedes vehicles has been successfully adapted to the standard model«. (BMW V8 Journal). The vehicle was donated to the Bavarian Red Cross in Freyung-Grafenau.

According to information of the Red Cross Grafenau, the car was scrapped after many years of true service. Only the engine was sold and supposed to have kept running on an old barge on the river Main.
